The guy who loves to throw statistics in everyone's face is sure Kovalchuk is done in the NHL after a massive 25 game sample size, in which he's posted 14pts

Yes, I am sure there will be a long line to trade for this has been Kovachuk. 16 goal pace and owed another 2 x 6.25M. Only if you add the equally finished Jeff Carter

Kings sewered themselves with that contract. Projected 5.9M cap space next season with 2 UFA's and 8 RFA's to manage. Their only hope is finding someone crazy enough to take on Kovy and Browners contracts which combine for about 12M. Just a slow, old team. But if I had to pick a fit for Kovy, I would say NYI. They need a scoring winger for the Komorov/Filpulla line and have cap space.

Crap contract for crap contract...

Tell ya what - let's throw in D Adam Boqvist - our highly touted #8 draft pick checking in at 5'7" and 165 lbs soaking wet with concussion problems.

Gotta love Kovi’s “your not gonna play me?!” “Well, I have this nagging burr on my ankle, second opinion doctor says surgery required.”

Out 4 to 6 weeks on IR so no trade elegebility because of it. Great revenge play by Kovi. Another backfire in WD’s face..

If it requires Kovy waiving his no movement clause he's probably not going anywhere. The guy wanted to be in LA when he signed in NJ years ago and probably wants to stay.

The Kings can make him submit a list of 7 acceptable teams in 20-21. Enjoy!

You do realize he was actually playing on the top 2 lines and doing well before dumbass WD took over.

I said he appears to be finished. Exact quote. You are the one who said I am sure. I am not sure. I said he appears to be. Your attempts to get the master are lame at best, a brutal indictment of your character at worst.

I will trade you Morin (6'7) for Boqvist. That is tons of value.
